ADVENTURE-BASED RETREATS and dog training EXPERIENCES FOR COMBAT VETERANS TO HEAL
THE WARRIOR WAY THROUGH ACTION, CAMARADERIE, AND PURPOSE.
OUR MISSION
At PCL, our mission is to offer veterans the chance to rekindle their warrior
experience and rediscover their inner strength through a unique blend of
adventure challenges, camaraderie, and peer-led support.
OUR PROGRAMS
SAME WARRIOR, DIFFERENT MISSION
Adventure Retreats
All-expenses-paid adventure retreats rooted in nature, brotherhood, and action-based therapy—designed to challenge and empower warriors.
Project Combat Leave (PCL) is built on timeless warrior traditions, guiding veterans to rediscover and reignite the spirit within through action, unity, and shared challenges. Our program reflects the ancient practices of warrior cultures, helping veterans reconnect with their identity and reclaim their strength, purpose, and resilience. Through adventure-based therapy and communal experiences, PCL cultivates both personal growth and lasting bonds.
We believe healing doesn’t happen in a clinic—it happens in motion, in nature, and in connection. At Project Combat Leave, we bring veterans together to push their limits, support one another, and rediscover who they are.
Dog Training & Companion Bonding
Professional volunteer trainers help veterans build strong, healing bonds with their canine companions.
Veterans and their dogs take part in free one-on-one or small-group sessions led by experienced volunteer trainers. These sessions develop practical skills, trust, and emotional balance while deepening the human–animal bond.
Professional trainers work closely with each veteran–dog team, teaching obedience, communication, and advanced bonding techniques. Beyond skill-building, these sessions provide emotional grounding through companionship, consistency, and unconditional support.
